Project Description:
- Kfar Saba Municipal Park covers 270 dunams.
- Park planning included all levels of thinking - Master Plan and integration into the urban fabric,
park design, choice of finishing materials and development elements. - The principles guiding the design are principles of sustainability: using water-resistant,
water-resistant vegetation and introducing surface runoff water into pooling and seepage areas. - The design of the topography, which aims to create interest for the users, is done by thinking
about creating a balance between the excavation and filling work and of course the routing of
water to the collecting areas. - Phase one of the work was devoted to creating a wide range of park activities and included
trail development, shading, picnic areas, unique game complexes, amphitheater,
eco-ornamental pool, jet games used for water games, hockey arena and skate park.
The complexes are immersed in grassy areas and wrapped in rich vegetation that includes
over 2,000 different species of trees. - In the second phase of the work, orchard areas, a large ornamental lake, a living area and the
creation of complexes for additional recreational and leisure activities were planned.
