Project Description:
- An underground concrete Drainage Trail carrying the drains of Energy Park
and the Weizman neighborhood towards Hedera Forest. - The Drainage Trail was constructed under 5 railroads.
- About 160 meter in length and to 5.0 * 2.9 meter section in shallow depth below the rails.
- Constructed in site from prefabricated concrete elements.
- Constructed in the method of "Cut and Cover" (C&C).
- In the area of the railroads, the Drainage Trail was placed in a 100-hour
operation that included a train ride break, dismantling of 5 rails, transporter
sections assembly of varying lengths 8-12 m each and weighing up to 220 tones
per element with 2 huge 500-ton * meter cranes, coverage and return to its initial situation,
and reassembly of 5 rails.
